On their 5.5-metre catamaran, the two sailors improved the record by 44 minutes, with a crossing in 6 hrs 57 min. The conditions encountered were finally rougher than forecast, with 25 knots of wind (35 in the gusts) and a rough sea. The continuation of this project is to now go and show the video of the record in schools, to show the children that it is possible to make your dreams become reality. The two sailors have more dreams, as they envisage crossing the Mediterranean in 2014.
