You know that here at the magazine, we like adventurers. From Alessandro di Benedetto (crossing the Pacific singlehanded on a sport cat) to Sébastien Roubinet (north-west passage under sail alone), via Yvan Bourgnon (Cape Horn in a sport cat), these sailors are able to invent improbable challenges to have us dreaming.

The latest ‘madness’ to date comes to us from Yvan Bourgnon, who has quite simply decided to set off round the world...on a sport cat. Accompanied by Vincent Beauvarlet, the skipper left at the beginning of October, for an 11-month and 50,000 km trip on a 6.3-metre cat... From the Atlantic coast (departure from Les Sables d’Olonne) to the West Indies, then the Pacific to Indonesia, before returning to the Mediterranean via Suez, this adventure will be punctuated by 20 stopovers.
