The aim was to be able
to cruise at 10 knots with a consumption of less than 3l/mile, thus giving this
ocean voyager’s boat a range of 5000 miles.Discovered at the Grand Pavois, the
boat meets its specification, with a maximum speed of 16 knots, a weight
specification which has been respected and a boat perfectly within its lines.
Mayday Boat, directed by Servane Escoffier, has moreover just placed a new order for a 15-metre catamaran, again designed by Patrick Balta.
