We have been following the construction of this big blue water catamaran built in Finland and designed by the famous architect German Frers, for whom this is the first catamaran.

The OQS 60 was launched a few weeks ago, and has just started its voyage with its owner.A voyage which has started well, as the very first outings allowed the boat to sail at between 10 and 13.5 knots, with 22 to 24 knots of true wind, under main with one reef and jib, in remarkable comfort for the owner.
The boat will be at the start of the
ARC, and should then continue its voyage in the Caribbean, whilst the builder
is working on a 78-foot catamaran.
