The first race took place in Austria, then the boats competed in the Bol d’Or, before distinguishing themselves during Cowes Week. In fact Spax, one of the GC 32s, capsized during the race, fortunately without causing injury or breaking any equipment. It must be said that the skippers are still discovering the potential of these dynamic, heavily canvassed catamarans, whose speed record was set at Cowes, at 29.1 knots, in 17 knots of true wind...
