On launching the Balance 421, the China-based builder thought that a real potential existed for catamaran buyers looking for a boat which is a bit sportier than the run of the mill production boats, whilst still offering nice accommodation for ocean cruising.

But Phillip Berman, from Multihull Company, at the origin of this project, was impressed by the boat’s reception, to such a point that the company has already planned to grow, to increase production… It must be said that after just a few months of marketing, the builder already has a 421 and two 451s under construction at the yard in China, whilst a 601 has been started in South Africa!
