Whilst working on the design of his boat, Hugo Le Breton wanted above all a fast boat (just like the SIG 45), but also one which could take his family blue water cruising, with all that implied in terms of load and comfort aboard.

The aim is to be able to take the 60-footer across the Atlantic in around ten days - over 300 miles per day... Not bad for a cruising cat. To do this, the builder is counting on high-tech construction, effective weight centering, a powerful modern sail plan, and an intelligently designed hull.
After the SIG 45, the builder is working flat out on the SIG 60, as well as an 80-foot version. The SIGs, whose name is an acronym for Speed – Innovation – Grace, haven’t finished making us dream...
