After the success of the first ‘improvers’’ sessions in cruising catamarans, Oceans Evasion has decided to get going in 2013 and is offering more dates, as well as various levels.

Again run by Christophe Weibel, a professional skipper with a long experience, these sessions, limited to six people, are open to those who want to become familiar with cruising catamaran manœuvres, or those who are independent in a monohull, but are looking to acquire the necessary skills in a cat. The introductory sessions are open to everyone, including those who have never sailed, and take place on a Lagoon 380, leaving from Lorient. For the improvers, the catamaran chosen is a Salina 48. Around ten dates have been booked for this autumn and spring 2014.
