The fifth edition of the Caribbean 600 allowed many boats of all kinds to race over 600 miles around 11 of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean, starting from Antigua.

At the finish, Paradox, a 63-foot trimaran, missed the event record, held by the Orma 60 Région Guadeloupe, by 11 minutes, after 40 hours’ racing.
Note the exceptional performance by the Gunboat ‘Phaedo’, which finished 5th on elapsed time, just behind the untouchable Paradox, Icap, a 100’ maxi, the JV 72’ Bella Mente and the RP 112’ Nilaya. Not bad for a cruising cat!
Don’t forget to have a look at the video of Phaedo ; it’s impressive, and really makes you want to go and sail aboard !
