The story of the Gunboat 78 is rather special. Over the last two years, the owner put the construction to one side, and the hull was left in the boat yard in South Africa, awaiting better days.

Now those days seem to have arrived, and the 78's hull has been loaded onto a liner for its first Atlantic crossing, in the direction of the United States and the new Gunboat boatyard at Wanchese (NC). The arrival is planned for the beginning of December, for the construction to be finished off.
For those who are interested, this hull is for sale, and the sooner a buyer is found, the easier it will be to meet his requirements in terms of accommodation...
