The multihull was sailing in ideal conditions: flat sea, 20 knots of wind, one reef and close hauled, when the bottom of the cap shroud broke, which brought the mast down. Yet the PBO cable had been changed in 2010. Fortunately no one was injured, and there was no damage to the boat's structure.
