The Rapier 500 is a brand-new, resolutely modern catamaran, whose aim is to offer performance and comfort aboard. From a performance point of view, the builder has announced impressive average speeds, as the aim is to string together days of around 350 miles. When cruising, the aim is to sail peacefully at 12 knots; the boat must remain comfortable at 15, and allow top speeds of up to 25 knots!
The builder has also abandoned the traditional separation between the cockpit and the saloon, to offer a huge, bright area, equipped with opening hatches to further accentuate the feeling of space. .
Hull no.1 should be launched in January 2013.
