There is of course the Multimed, which this year celebrated its 9th edition with, as always, a high class field and good humour guaranteed, between Cannes and St. Tropez... But from the Multimalo to the ARC, via the Tour de Belle Ile, the RORC Caribbean 600, the Heineken Regatta...we can now race on all the world's waters in multihulls!
This is also the case in Asia, and more particularly in Thailand, where numerous races are organised every year. It must be said that since the import taxes on boats have been reduced (from 100% to 0%!!!), the nautical industry is booming, and growing year after year.
Amongst the most important regattas in Thailand, we find first of all the Top of the Gulf (250 boats in 2011), the Samui Regatta and the King's Cup Phuket... The next ‘Top of the Gulf' will take place from 4th to 8th May 2012, and for those of you who want to follow it on the internet, class 7 concerns the multihulls. The Samui Regatta will then take place from 28th May to 2nd June.
