Aero 48 electro solaire
The first two Aero 48es will soon take to the water. The first is a real sailing boat, able to take its crew around the world, yet without consuming any fossil fuels. When sailing under the two forward sails (there is no mainsail) this 48 footer will recharge its batteries (thanks to its motors which act as hydrogenerators) in around fifteen hours. A completely autonomous boat. The second Aero 48e is a laboratory boat, which it is hoped will help to further the research. Neither of these boats is currently registered for a show, but the Multihulls World team will definitely aim to give one of them a trial as soon as they are operational.

Aquila 44
After last year's 48, the shipyard will present the brand new Aquila 44 in 2014. Already shown in Miami, it can be seen in Newport, Annapolis and Fort Lauderdale in the US this year. The Aquila 48 will also be on show at the same shows. The shipyard will be present at Cannes as well this year, but will not be taking any boats. The Aquila 44 is a motor catamaran which is comfortable and yet capable of high performance, reaching a top speed of 22 knots.
Alpha 42
The Alpha 42 catamaran was the brainchild of Gregor Tarjan of Aeroyacht, one of the multihull specialists in the US. The n°1 took to the water last year already, and you can finally see it at the Annapolis Boat Show. The yard is in fact launching 3 new boats this summer...

Astus 24
Previewed at the last Paris Boat Show, say hello to the new Astus 24. It ticks all the boxes that trimaran buyers are looking for: transportable, seaworthy, quick AND habitable. The 24 has a large, well-protected cockpit, and also a proper interior salon with a galley corner, a forward cabin, a WC, and huge storage volumes. The perfect boat for cruising or tripping along the coast. You can see it at the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle.

Bali 4.5
The new range of Bali catamarans was presented at the last international multihull show. The first model will be on show at the Cannes show in September. It's a 45 footer, designed and built by the Catana group. And for those who can't make it to Cannes, it's worth noting that the n°1 in this series will stay a while in the shipyard for intensive testing. There's talk that eventually the yard will bring along another boat from the range (probably around 40') to the Paris Boat Show. Watch this space...

Class 4 O Yacht
Here it comes... Built in Latvia, the first O Yacht is currently touring Europe before being shown at the Cannes show. A real test for this boat which was conceived by Erik Lerouge and designed by Clifford Denn. A fast boat but one which the designers wanted to keep comfortable
Check it out in Cannes...

Dragonfly 25
The Quorning Boat shipyard has recently begun work on a new folding trimaran, the Dragonfly 25. For the moment there isn't much news getting out, but this will represent a lot of work for a yard which already has lots to do supplying the clients for its 28', 32' and 35' boats, but the central hull is already being produced. 10 models of the new Dragonfly 25 have already been sold at the launch price of €69900 ex taxes, with the sails. Delivery early 2015. In the meantime the yard will be exhibiting at La Rochelle, Annapolis and of course Dusseldorf...
Fountaine Pajot
The La Rochelle-based builder has had plenty of new projects in recent years, and this year is no exception, as there will be some new Fountaine Pajot catamarans. Starting with the much-anticipated Saba 50, which replaces the Salina 48 in the range. This catamaran follows in the footsteps of the Sanya and Helia: a modern boat, luminous, spacious and offering everything that a pleasure-loving crew of a current cruising catamaran would expect. You can discover this boat in Cannes, La Rochelle, Annapolis, Genoa and Barcelona. Other news from this shipyard is the Summerland 40 LC: a motor catamaran that has been completely re-thought and which will be exhibited in Sydney, Cannes, Grand Pavois and Auckland.

Gunboat 55
Gunboat's brand new boat will take its first steps at the Newport show in September and then again in the US at Annapolis in October. Like the rest of the range, the Gunboat 55 is both rapid and comfortable, offering the ultimate in fast cruising.
Heliotrope 65
Built in Thailand, the new motor catamaran Heliotrope 65 has only just taken to the water, and therefore will not be shown at the upcoming boat shows. However, the yard will be present in Cannes where it will have its other new project on show: the Heliotrope 48, a motor catamaran and especially the Bakricono 60, a long haul sailing catamaran.

Jaguar 48
The Jaguar 48 (see pages 90 and 91) is a motor catamaran that we discovered at the last multihull show. It will be on show at the Cannes and Barcelona shows and maybe at Annapolis (to be confirmed).
Lagoon
At the start of the year Lagoon presented its newly fitted-out 560 S2, and you can check it out this year at Cannes. The new version with the galley in the hull liberates a huge amount of space in the salon. This new S2 offers all sorts of amazing fitting out options, with the possibility of up to 5 double cabins and two galley options: either lateral in the port hull, or a central position in the salon. Which to choose will be the most difficult thing...
However, the big news is of course the MY 630, which signals lagoon's return to the motor catamaran sector. MY for Motor Yacht, as the yard's new catamaran will be a real yacht... You can catch the MY 630 at the Cannes, Barcelona, Genoa and Miami shows.

Leopard 48
The new version of the Leopard 48 will be shown at the next Cannes show. The 48 footer's interiors have been completely re-worked, and evoke the style that can be found on board the magnificent Leopard 58. The new interiors are much brighter, and this works much better! The Leopard 48 will also be at the Annapolis and Miami shows.

Long Island 85
JFA has just presented the first boat in its Long Island range. It's the particularly impressive 85 footer with a magnificent owner's cabin with sea view. The boat will not be present at any shows, however the yard will have a presence at Cannes and Monaco.

Maine Cat 38
The new Maine Cat 38 will take to the water this summer. This catamaran has been designed to be more high-performance than usual production boats, without being as extreme as some of the boats that are designed for racing cruising... Light and flexible, the MC 38 can be easily sent anywhere you want, and put together by the shipyard team in one or two days. No shows have been booked so far, although we may be able to see it at one of the big American shows.
Mattia 52 Carbon
The new version of the pretty Mattia will be at Cannes. It's a new version that has been built exclusively from carbon, which should give a boost to this lovely hull which is equipped with contoured foils... A pacey cruiser for long voyages!
Nautitech
Nautitech will be presenting the 3 cabin version of their Open 40 at Cannes and at La Rochelle (where it can be tried out). The yard is also hoping to present this new boat at Annapolis and perhaps at one of the inland winter shows... The other novelty will also be presented at Cannes: the all new Nautitech 541 in the 3 cabin version will in fact be debuting at the Mediterranean show.

Ocean Explorer C60
Although launched a year ago, its owner immediately took it around the Atlantic Ocean. The Ocean Explorer C-60 will therefore only be presented for the first time at the Cannes Boat Show. This top of the range, very long haul catamaran, conceived by German Frers will undoubtedly be one of the stars of the show...

Outremer 45
This boat has just been launched, and its owners are currently sailing it in the Mediterranean. The all-new Outremer 45 is of course - like its predecessor in the range is a blue water catamaran, yet you will find a level of comfort and volumes that cannot be compared to the version from the 2000s. The 45 takes what made a success of the Outremer 49 and 5X: seaworthy and with good performance to allow a family crew to go on a long voyage. The yard used the architects Barreau-Neuman to conceive the project, and Franck Darnet for the design. It will be on show at Cannes.
Privilège Série 5
The new Privilège boats are presented under the name "Série" (Series). Initially the 4.5 and the 4.9 and now the new Série 5 which will be presented at Cannes and the Grand Pavois. The basis for this newly drawn and re-thought boat was the Privilège 515, with the architect Marc Lombard and interior designer Franck Darnet being brought in to help. The sail surface area has been increased and the interior living space has been completely overhauled. The yard has also already announced a new Série 6 and a new Série 7 for 2015...

Tricat 25 Evolution
The new Tricat 25 has been completely revised by the yard, and the new Evolution version that will be on show at the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle features new floats, carbon linking arms and a new sail layout. In short, it's a brand new boat that has even better performance. One more thing not to miss at Grand Pavois, is the Tricat 23.5 Gwalaz, built from bio-composites (linen fiber) for Roland Jourdain, and used by a bunch of surfers who make some fantastic films. One definitely not to miss...
