Nearly three years after our first visit to the shipyard, our correspondent Jonathan took advantage of the launch (and sea trial, coming soon!) of the Voyage 510 to discover the Voyage Yachts facilities for himself.

The company was founded in Cape Town in 1994 under the leadership of Kay Oldenburg. Here, a team of 50 employees builds bluewater cruising catamarans in small series - just 5 to 6 units per year.
Since the launch of the Voyage 590 in 2020, the range had been limited to that single model, but it has now been expanded with the addition of the 510 last July.
“What perhaps struck me the most,” Jonathan tells us, “was the team behind these multihulls: a close-knit, passionate group that feels almost like family. You can sense a real connection between the craftsmen, managers, and technicians. There’s a shared pride, a genuine desire to do things well, and above all a kindness that is reflected in the final product.”
