Scientific missions and explorations are the credo of these units, which offer a complete range from 40 to 80 feet. Such journeys, evidently in complete contact with the environment, lead to reflection on polluting emissions, with Archipelago founder Dr Stephen Weatherley having signed a partnership agreement with e-Motion Hybrid Systems, a pioneer in environmentally friendly marine propulsion technology. This new hybrid propulsion system will be offered on all Archipelago models.
