The plans were produced by Dykstra Naval Architects, with technical support from the Australian experts at One2Three Naval Architects. ASC57 will be equipped with a schooner rig. Southern Spars’ Dynarig sails will be mounted on horizontal yards, and the 17,870 square feet (1,660 m²) of sail area will be fully automated. A powerful hydrogeneration system will be installed to optimize energy management and implement more environmentally-friendly operating modes than those of traditional motor superyachts.
On board, the manufacturer promises luxury worthy of their M/Y Charley 2 superyacht, launched in 2023. There will also be a wide range of toys and even logistical support from a helicopter, as a landing pad is planned.
