Note that the difference between these two models is not simply a matter of lengthening or shortening the aft sugarscoop - rather, it’s in the middle of these all-carbon hulls where things are happening... we’ll find out more very soon. The designers have combined a lightweight platform with a sail plan that can be managed short-handed - furling boom, electric winches, hydraulic mainsheet traveler, etc.
The iconic features of Kinetic, already proven on the 62 and 54, will logically be found on the K6, notably daggerboards and the forward cockpit that connects to an interior helm station. For those who love a sporty feel, the K6 also has exterior wheel steering wheels on the raised side-decks.
