Out goes the ORC42, in comes the 57 with a higher standard of finish and, above all, it’s a go for the first makeover - the ORC50. This light and powerful catamaran, with 26 examples built, is becoming the 52.2, with extended sugarscoops, new overhead hatches, enlarged openings forward and especially towards the cockpit, and steps at the foot of the mast. As for the interior, the atmosphere has been reworked by designer Franck Darnet to be a little more welcoming yet preserving the initial simplicity of the layout.
