The shipyard is now preparing a brand-new Sport range, which looks to be almost equivalent to the launch of two new models. The waterline has been lengthened thanks to new inverted bows with an angle increased to 17°, carbon appendages with optimized profiles (the daggerboards are 25½ inches/65 cm longer), a rig with a carbon mast extended by 39 inches (1 meter) and Kevlar® shrouds, a carbon cross beam extended by a foot (30 cm), high-end fittings and blocks, and finally a set of 3D Membrane sails that includes an overlapping genoa. The interiors benefit from a specific design but above all from new, lighter materials. With the use of carbon bulkheads, the Windelo Sport achieves a weight saving of 1,100 lbs (500 kg) compared to its Adventure equivalent.
