A Wandering Holiday Catamaran
33 years: that’s how long it took Sabine and William to set off to live their dream. After offering their services as a “guest catamaran” in Corsica for many years, they finally set sail on a round-the-world trip with no itinerary other than traveling, meeting people... and enjoying a lot of free-dom!

With high standards for sailing capabilities and amenities, we scoured sales websites for the right ad. Periods of discouragement followed periods of optimism, weariness, hope... and disappointing visits. In April 2013, at the top of page 4, the catamaran of our dreams was finally there: we christened it Atipik.
For more than 10 years, Atipik has been sailing around Corsica and the Tuscan islands of Elba and Capraia. Every summer, passengers from France, Belgium, Switzerland, and the United States discovered the Isle of Beauty on a cruise aboard our catamaran. As professional sailors registered with the Maritime Affairs Department, we live our passion to the fullest. But a catamaran with-out a voyage is just a ship going around in circles. So, we set sail for the open sea to broaden our horizons! A one-year sabbatical allowed us to test our project in real life. Italy, Sicily, Malta, Sar-dinia... the outcome of this journey was quite positive, and we learned an important lesson: “there’s no point in rushing, you have to take your time!” We then gave ourselves five years to set sail again... without fixing a return date.
In 2024, we cast off. Atipik left Bastia and we embarked on the adventure of a lifetime, or rather a lifetime of adventure. One last tour of Corsica, the Pontine Islands, the Aeolian Islands, the Strait of Messina... the landscape rolled by and we immortalized it in our YouTube videos! Then Greece, where we had initially planned to stay 1 to 2 weeks, wouldn’t let us leave. The beauty of the Ionian Islands from Corfu to Paxos, from Ithaca to Kefalonia, from Othoni to Zakynthos, the charm of the Greek villages and the welcome of the population got the better of our sailing pro-gram. We spent the winter in Corfu.
So what have we got planned for the future? Offering cruises in Greece, of course! Then we will drop anchor in the Peloponnese, the Cyclades, and perhaps the Saronic Islands. More than just a multihull, Atipik is the starting point for unforgettable journeys, exciting experiences, and incredible encounters.
