The Seajet brand is no novice, belonging as it does to the Japanese group Chugoku Marine Paints, a paint specialist for over... a century! In fact, Seajet has developed a complete range of “new generation” copper- and biocide-free products (Seajet Eco range/Seajet Econea 027 Saiko and 038 Taisho/Seajet Pellerclean). These products now account for 20% of AGL Marine’s antifouling sales.
The Hempel brand, meanwhile, offers its Hempaguard X7, which has been awarded the Water Revolution Foundation's sustainability certificate as a sustainable solution. This bottom paint exploits a “fouling defense” coating, based on ActiGuard® technology, which combines the action of a silicone hygrogel and a high-performance biocide.
