Launches its 8 kW BlueSpin Outboard
The manufacturer BlueNav, based in Arcachon, France, was one of the first to set up a service for an electric powertrain installation aboard boats already powered by an original internal combustion system.

The concept is to offer a clean alternative without necessarily having to forgo the advantages of thermal engines (safety, greater range, etc.). In parallel with this approach, BlueNav has developed its Smart Hybrid Boating Solution – a combination of hardware and software technologies designed to offer optimal efficiency, maneuverability and ease of use – and a new outboard motor, the 8 kW BlueSpin, whose 360° mobile turbine can be retracted when under sail.
