Arrival at St. Lucia
For a long time, the organizers of the ARC were faced with difficulties regarding the reception of multihulls: in a port, the latter obviously take up more space than the monohulls... In the end, the general success of this transatlantic -supervised rally and the ever more pressing demand from owners of catamarans and trimarans led the World Cruising Club to organize a second rally – the ARC + –, then a third – the ARC January.

As a result, since the pressure on marinas has subsided, there have been more multihulls every year: there were 33 at the start of the ARC "historic canal" in 2022, 37 last year and 44 this year - we have them found in Saint Lucia in the Rodney Bay marina!
