But above all, it’s the CM46’s sail area/displacement ratio that promises outstanding performance: with 17.54 m² per tonne, this catamaran is almost twice as fast as comfort cruisers in its class! The standard 60-foot (18 m) rig can be extended by a further meter (3 feet), and the builder is predicting peak speeds in excess of 25 knots... Add to that, the deep daggerboards will ensure excellent upwind sailing. On deck, the structural cross-beam - a feat of composite manufacturing - is particularly elegant. Inside, the hunt for weight imposes a very basic finish: you have to know what you want... The manufacturer also offers a CM50 and a CM53.
