Powered by twin 400 HP outboards, the Dracan reached well over 30 knots. On the day of our test, the sea was perfectly flat, but crossing the wakes of several other boats at full speed gave us a good idea of how it would handle in waves. In the curves, the 42 stays flat.
The modern design of this semi-open hull is unmistakably successful, and the carefully designed layout, with 2, 3 or 4 cabins, will adapt to any program. The deck layout is ideal for relaxation, with large sun loungers aft and a forward cockpit.
