“We were very pleased to return to Ovéa, as we had missed it whilst we spent some time in France. We hoped to leave at the end of September from the Power Boat boatyard (which moreover is great, excellent welcome by both the charming boss and the whole team) but the work in fact accumulated... A sailor’s life is not always simple, but as a reward, we are lucky enough to live a dream in superb waters.
We then went to the Tobago Cays, where we have been able to swim with turtles and rays, a real pleasure and absolutely magic. After lots of work, everything aboard finally works, and this time our batteries hold their charge, the solar panels are providing lots of energy and we have started up the watermaker – we are completely independent! Moreover we drank the first of our water in champagne glasses!
The New Year has got off to a good start, and we are still as happy with our choice of lifestyle.”
