40 years after the first edition in 1978, the 11th Route du Rhum will soon be leaving from Saint Malo, heading for Guadeloupe. The start will be given at 1.02 pm on 4th November 2018.

This year, 120 boats will be on the start line, including 6 Ultims, 6 Multi50s and 20 multihulls in the Rhum class. This promises some good sport at all levels.
While awaiting the start, the skippers are warming up, validating their qualifying passages and racing, so as to be on top form. One of the last opportunities to see them in action before the start, will be at the Trophée des Multicoques, which will be held from 28th to 31st of August at La Trinité sur Mer in Brittany.
