A mast that’s taking a step back…
After a 6-year career spanning 7 models, Gunboat announces the successor to the 68: the forthcoming 70 uses the same hull molds - albeit slightly lengthened - but, like the 72 and 80, features a mast stepped a bit further aft, on the coachroof.

The sail plan will therefore evolve in favor of the headsails. From the helm station forward of the coachroof, you’ll be able to enjoy a totally unobstructed view and a tilting wheel - with the option of also adding helm stations at the after ends of the hulls. The 70 also offers some notable changes in terms of layout: huge bay windows between saloon and cockpit, fully-fitted galley, either up or down, and finally an Owner’s cabin that now takes up its quarters aft on the starboard side for greater ease.
