Numerous exchanges, whether at boat shows, or by email and via social media, with you - members of the Multihulls World community - remind us that not everyone has a million dollars to spend on the latest model measuring 50-plus feet... That’s why in this issue we tell you about a rally-raid along the coast of Brittany aboard sports catamarans (with dispersed camping on the beach), a cabin charter cruise out of Tahiti aboard a Lagoon 620, and the long-term charter of a Neel 43 for an Atlantic circuit. In short, in this special Cruising Escapes issue, we share with you all forms of sailing - provided they take place firmly planted on two or three hulls.

In terms of tests, the Tortue 147, an incredible custom-built aluminum catamaran, appears to mock all the marketing rules, while the Balance 580, arriving straight from South Africa after a 7,200-mile passage, thrilled us as we sailed aboard at nearly 15 knots off the coast of Cannes...

The deal of the month? The Leopard 45, a sturdy catamaran that is just waiting to start a second life after a few seasons in charter.
