Although the Cape Town–based shipyard Voyage Yachts has produced several models such as the 480 and 580, since 2020 its range had been reduced to the very comfortable Voyage 590, whose build quality we were able to see firsthand at the yard three years ago. 

We had the opportunity to discover the brand-new Balance 502 in a world premiere at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS) and to sail on board it off the coast of Key Biscay to reach Fort Lauderdale. This new model from Balance Catamarans is taking over from the 482.
